Our Mission

First and foremost, Rest in Paradise to Ermias “Nipsey Hussle” Asghedom. Your music, stories, and lessons have been an inspiration throughout my journey and have played a major role on where I am today. His teachings of investing in yourself, investing in others around you, and giving back to your community are the pillars of why I created So Prolific Group. His untimely passing made me realize that there are no guarantees and our time on this earth is the most valuable asset we have. Nipsey was also an illustration that no matter your background, childhood, or environment that we are all born equipped with the tools to do anything you set your mind too. 

 

My name is De’Mon Brooks, and I am the founder of So Prolific Group. Born in southern Georgia and raised in Charlotte, NC, I graduated from Hopewell High School and went on to go play for Davidson College where I became a two time All-American and a two-time conference MVP.  After the conclusion of my college career, I continued my basketball career internationally where I played for team in Italy, Israel, Germany, and as of now (proud to announce) Japan. As great as these achievements sound, there are a lot of blood, sweat and tears involved into making dreams, a reality. I did not do this on my own and have had the greatest support system from my wife, family, friends, teammates, coach, and fans from home and beyond. I am a prime example of how, with discipline and patience your success can be limitless. 

 

We are all born with abilities to achieve greatness and have an impact on the world as a difference maker. The So Prolific Group is a lifestyle appeal brand created to inspire, motivate, and assist young athletes to become the best version of themselves. In the 21st century, capitalism, inequality, and other faulty institutions affect millions everyday both directly and indirectly. The So Prolific Group is dedicated to teach our young people the skills and knowledge to navigate through this modern day jungle, to ultimately achieve the successes they desire.
